First step to education

Educations at its finest, education does not start in school its start from the home you're raised in. Starts off with your surroundings and who is teaching you from a blood parent or a parent guardian of some sort.

Education does not come easy from teaching your child to read and write from teaching them what shoe goes on what foot, even as a baby how to use your hands to eat to walking. Education is really hitting a peak because a lot of children now a days do not understand the true meaning of getting an education. Knowing what is right from wrong should be apart of a child's education for example throwing a tantrum at toys r us because they want that baby doll is not okay. I know this is oblivious to you as parents but you can not let your child to things that they want to do you're the adult. I am not a parent but from having fifteen nieces ans nephews I think I should know better but this also comes from a good education at home getting taught from my mother an father. I started walking at 8 months and by the time I hit 3 grade I was at a 6th grade reading level. I did get diagnosed with some dyslexia but that did not stop my parents pushing me to further my education and to play ball. Parenting is stressful and it does come with big responsibilities.
Visual (Spatial) – These individuals learn best through pictures, images, and spatial understanding
Aural (Auditory) – These individuals learn best through sound and music
Verbal (Linguistic) – These individuals learn best through words, verbal and/or written
Physical (Kinesthetic) – These individuals learn best through experience and rely on the sense of touch
Logical (Mathematical) – These individuals learn best through logic and reasoning
Social (Interpersonal) – These individuals learn best through group interaction
Solitary (Intrapersonal) – These individuals learn best through self-study
how to help your children through school.

Another solution for grades through school and to be respectful to others, is discipline. Discipline does not mean to hit your children when they have messed up. YES, everyone does make mistakes how do you expect your child to learn if they can not make mistakes. Making mistakes is okay, push your child in a positive way for example;
- you can do this just go through it slowly and I will help you if you get stuck
-taking breaks through homework
-fun activities to help study
-showing them examples step by step
discipline includes pushing them like taking TV time away or you can not go outside and play until everything is done, but in reality what child does these things they have Iphone's and tablets and game systems the internet has things that our children should not be seeing anytime soon. I advise you to turn on all Safety features change youtube into kids youtube and change the settings if they have social media get every password. You do not want your children to grow up extremely fast and you do not want them to lack in education.
This is an understanding that from the moment they start walking from the moemnt they get their first homework assignment  to the moment they have electronics, education matters and this all starts with parents who want to teach their children from start to beginning.

Family tradition

At the family table

Family tradition is all about connecting the young to the old. Passing traditions does not just involve the food you prepare for your family. Tradition can contain sitting together at the dinner table every night at 7:30pm.

The Latino culture has one of the best foods and best traditions. Knowing what food is coming to your holiday celebrations makes you excited for example Thanksgiving everyone knows what is going to be served at the dinner table; Mash potatoes, Turkey, Yams the original tradition. In the Hispanic culture there are many different flavors added to the table, For example; Vanilla-Orange Flan, Rose Sangria's. Christmas is a various of delicious foods such as; your main meals Ham, Mash potatoes, cookies. Hispanic culture makes Tamales 2 weeks prior or 2 months to Christmas, making Pozole, Albondigas is a tradition families do together. Happiness is what makes a tradition a tradition that is why it is continued throughout centuries.

Hispanic mothers, especially those in urban and low-income areas and who have recently migrated to the U.S., have difficulty adapting to the food culture of the United States. That sudden influence of fast food, easy microwavable meals and high-fat ingredients makes healthy cooking difficult for Latinas who struggle to keep a sense of food culture at home for their easily acculturated children.
Data, compiled from a study published in the Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal, indicates the acquired eating habits of Hispanic children plays a role in the difficulty Hispanic mothers face, as little ones are quickly exposed to American dieting habits at school and in the homes of friends, as well as influenced through the media.
In fact, studies now show us that acculturated Hispanics face many more health difficulties and higher obesity rates than new Hispanic immigrants, and adoption of the so called American diet has a lot to do with it. For many, the easy access to drive-thrus, and low prices of fast food, become a quick and affordable way to provide for the family, especially if there is little awareness on the health risks of these new dieting habits.
So what is a Hispanic mother to do in order to help her children stay healthy despite new cultural influences?
“Food in general is a social event we as humans share with one another,” Jenny Patrizia, psychologist, nutritionist and personal trainer, told VOXXI. “That’s why we see foods in all types of celebrations in a person’s life—baptism, birth, weddings and yes, even funerals. Food is something more than filling up our tummies but a way to form a bond between one human being to another.
“So when you introduce to an immigrant mother mac and cheese or hamburgers and fries not only do they have to adapt to the new flavors the food brings but also to the new lifestyle of eating. We as Latinos share our food with our family. It brings our families together at the dinner table while U.S. families tend to be more independent when it comes to food,” she added (Gillette)

Junior college student life

As a Junior college student what does everyone have in common?
Image result for junior college memes
Most Junior college students, what they have in common is lack of effort, the educational difference between students race/ethnicity and attitude towards the work they're given. Today, community colleges attract the most diverse students in terms of age, race and ethnicity, ability, and career aspirations. They help millions of students further their education and achieve their professional dreams. Many community college students successfully transfer to four-year institutions where they complete their bachelor’s degrees, and many do so with great scholarships that are available to promising community college students. Community colleges also offer a high quality education, including accelerated and honors programs, as well as lots of academic, social, and financial services and resources. (Vianna)

The study was conducted on I PUC and II PUC college students. With regard to the socio-demographic characteristics of the college students, it was observed that majority of the students were aged between 17–18 years, and number of females was slightly more than males. With respect to the religion, a majority of the students were Hindu, and the least were Islamic, compared to the students belonging to other religion; because most of the people from Islam do not tend to pursue higher education. With regard to birth order of the child, majority of the students were middle born. A multiling
ual pattern was seen among the students. It was also noted that, a majority of the respondents spoke other languages at home than Kannada. This proves that respondents’ families belong to various states, but they have settled here. It was seen that most of the students were from nuclear families, which is a very common trend in urban areas. With respect to education background, a majority of the students were from well-educated families, with their fathers being postgraduate and mothers being educated up to higher secondary. The studies also revealed that, the fathers of the respondents were businessmen, whereas mothers were housewives. However, approximately one-third of the respondents’ mothers were employed. (Ramya)

Lack of effort does not only come within your effort it comes with your background from the different races to the different ways of learning this makes every student different because if that student barely knows how to speak English they will learn and have a different effort than a student who already knows English and already knows what 2+2 is.

The first signs of most mental health conditions often appear during or before the typical college age range - 18 to 24 years. Symptoms can include lack of energy, loss of concentration, lack of sleep or even substance abuse, which can affect school performance. Depressed or anxious students can also feel pessimistic and lose their motivation. In previous research, we and other research groups have extensively documented the high prevalence of mental health disorders in four-year institutions. Recent studies also indicate that mental health disorders could be increasing among the youth.
What about mental health issues of community college students specifically? Compared to four-year schools, community colleges draw student populations with higher poverty and other socioeconomic disadvantages, which could increase their vulnerability to mental health conditions. So in winter 2015, we conducted an online survey of a random sample of over 4,300 students at 10 community colleges across the nation, and used standard brief assessments to measure symptoms of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.
To compare with four-year school populations, we examined these same measures from Healthy Minds Study, a national survey from the academic year 2014-2015, which included nearly 16,000 respondents from 16 institutions. (Rab)

Effort and stress can also cause students not wanting to pursue their degree making the effort not be apparent anymore. Stress can also come from too much effort in the classroom. Example; exams, essays, and even blog post. When a student starts to stress out their minds start to over work and start to either doe off or just give up or even study too hard to where you wont get enough sleep for an exam and that can cause depression and other things involving the brain.

GMO VS ORGANIC

GMO (genetically modified organism);

WHAT IS GMO?hmm?

A GMO (genetically modified organism) is the result of a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal. The foreign genes may come from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals or even humans. Because this involves the transfer of genes, GMOs are also known as “transgenic” organisms.
This process may be called either Genetic Engineering (GE) or Genetic Modification (GM); they are one and the same.
The term “genetic modification” is used both commonly and legally to refer to the use of recombinant DNA techniques, in ways that are not possible or desirable in nature, to transfer genetic material between organisms.  This concept of genetic modification brings about alterations in genetic makeup and in the properties of the organism developed.  This technique using genetic engineering is highly mutagenic and leads to unpredictable changes in the DNA and the proteins produced by the GMO that can lead to toxic or allergic reactions.
GM proponents will argue that “genetic modification” has been used for centuries in an attempt to blur the lines and create confusion.  Traditional genetics used selective breeding, tissue cultures, hybridization and other methods that assists nature but does not circumvent natural laws.
The methods used to transfer the genes of modified DNA of a genetically modified plant are imprecise and unpredictable.  These unintended changes are possible differences in the food’s nutritional values, toxic and allergic effects, lower crop yields and unforeseen harm to the environment that cannot be recalled.

GMO is in almost every food we get at our local grocery stores. I did some research on what places did not sell GMO foods and Sprouts is one place where basically it is a farmers market. Another great place to grab a bite to eat is chipotle. The price for organic food is a lot higher price than regular Mcdonalds or your regular walmart groceries.

Image result for chipotle food prices

Chipotle and sprouts have two things in common organic another place that actually contains organic is salad on the go. The difference between from organic and gmo foods is that everything is bigger and better but the key thing to gmo foods is that some genes that splice together in the food we eat. They contain a product that gets addicting and thats why we crave mcdonalds or we crave mexican food. The meat is filled with hormones and the corn is sweeter and better.
If I were to choose any food I would choose non Gmo but that is hard to miss I honestly eat chiptole every other day. I do shop at sprouts but once, in a great while I do crave Jack n the Box tacos. Go organic its a good choice, even though it is more expensive.
The size of an apple should not be the size of both fist put together the size of an apple should be the size of your palm or smaller. Putting fish oil in apple to become bigger is wrong the more you splice a product the faster is expires.

Education

Education? I'm sure that implies towards people trying to get a degree? well, education is just not on trying to pursue a degree that also, implies on the lack of education in third world countries. What is a third world country? A third world country is different parts of the world that receive lack of education and do not have enough money to receive the education they should have. Education is a big part in the human life education is not just knowing what 2x-5x=. Education also involves being sexually active. That is one of education systems biggest problems is not giving information about sex and the consequences that you can get from having sex. About %3 of the world can spend $2 a day, %71 of the world can spend over $2 and the rest of the percentage in these third world countries can not afford to spend $1 a day. If they can not afford even $1 then how will they protect themselves from diseases and from getting pregnant and even affording education or education resources such as; books, news papers etc.?
Image result for good question picture

For example, Africa in some cultures, when you have aids or any type of STD "you must have sex with a virgin in order to get rid of it". That is because lack of education they have they do not know how to get rid of aids or any type of STD they have. The avg children per family in some places in Africa is 3-7 children. 3-7?! that is a ton especially when you do not have money to afford these children the avg death rate is 2-5 out of those children in a family die from lack of food or diseases because why you ask?, EDUCATION! If women in these third world countries had the process of getting birth control then the birth rate would be no problem but that also, includes gentlemen knowing how or what a condom is.. condoms also prevents fewer STD's and also, prevents you from having children about 99.9 percent of the time. If the government gave the same education opportunities to third world countries then we would not have an issue supporting them with funds and being in more debt than we should be. That's a whole different topic. The initial idea should be wanting to motivate these places in protecting themselves before they put others in danger.

Banned Skittles?

Do you think that skittles are good? That they really do taste that amazing?, well after this let's hope you feel differently about what your kids watch and what they see. Skittles are supposed to be a great flavor from all the different types; tropical from original. Skittles should always make you happy and should show that they're a type of candy and kids should think candy equals happiness.

Image result for skittles equals happiness

when you think football. Now it's game on even though you're not on that field, the heart racing and screaming over the players and what they're doing on that field. This should also, make you feel happy as well. You want your kids to know that watching football is okay because it's a career and you're an athlete and those men out there are giving it their all and they work hard every single day for what they do. In 2014, skittles made a commercial/PSA, about skittles and "taste the rainbow"... well, tasting the rainbow did not look to good when this came on in front of thousands of people at the super bowel. Kids, families, even celebrities, watched this horrific scene. Providing you a video of what it is and what did skittles want to get out of it? That is truly the question everyone was asking at the moment.

Thing is, is when you go to watch this video you have to click proceed because it is inappropriate. What happens when your kids search the web super bowl clips and this pops up? Do not really know because not only did skittles take this to a whole different level they made this to wear if I loved skittles I would fill different about the product because the person selling this product thought of the idea. At least after this went viral, skittles got sued and they had a lot more inappropriate videos. They have skittles still going but "tasting the rainbow"should never have been like this in any way, shape or form.

Statistics show that In 2013, 3,154 people were killed and an estimated additional 424,000 were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers. This represents a 6.7 percent decrease when compared to the number of fatalities recorded in 2012. Unfortunately, approximately 424,000 people were injured, which is an increase from the 421,000 people who were injured in 2012...

People each year experience this with their family or as a individual. Texting and driving is dangerous if you need to text or even snap very quick wait until you get home or until your destination. Another way you can prevent danger is pull over and do it if you have too.

My personal experience is about m uncle. One day his daughter broke down on a highway in California I do not remember where, but this highway was dangerous and very curvy and very hidden. While, he was changing her tire he told her to stand as far as possible and she did. Just like that a driver who was texting and driving not only that but this driver was drunk. The drunk driver who was texting hit my uncle and killed him right away. Not knowing him for very long made me realize that texting and riving is not worth it. Losing someone is so emotional and tears a family apart. This man who killed an innocent human only served TWO years in prison. He got his life but will anyone who loved m uncle will they?, No my mom or his kids will never be the same. Be safe on the rad do not text and drive it is not worth it.
